The Grand Prize winner will receive $400 and the work will be featured at the Israel Pavilion at Edmonton's Heritage Festival 2005. Deadline for submissions is May 3, 2005. Yom HaShoah at 12 noon on the Legislature grounds

Join with the community as we mark Holocaust Remembrance Day at the monument on the Provincial Legislature grounds (approximately 95th Avenue and 107th Street). Buses will leave the JCC at 11am and at 11:30am from the Drop In Centre. For more information, please call the JCC at 487-0585. No cost for this event.

Yom Ha'atzmaut Community Dinner and Concert, 6pm at the JCC

The concert features Yardena Arazi and Hanan Yovel with Shira Yovel. Food catered by Eddy Yedgarova. Herzl: Up Close and Personal in Pursuit of the Zionist Vision

A presentation of the Herzl Museum and Educational Center Department for Zionist Activities World Zionist Organization. A contemporary exhibition commemorating the visionary of the Jewish state on the 100th anniversary of his death is now on display at Beth Shalom.Synagogue
